Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-12pm Age 6-12y old Join our engaging and interactive art classes designed specifically for homeschoolers! *Explore:* - Various art techniques and mediums - Creative expression and self-discovery - Art history and appreciation *Benefits:* - Foster creativity and confidence - Develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination - Socialize with fellow homeschoolers Santana’s Art Studio will be working with different Art themes every year, that way we can have fun with our students and learn from different ART experiences. This year our curriculum theme is Art Movements with the Masters students will begin to understand the meaning, value, and significance of art, they will learn how to analyze artwork what they like---and don’t like, students will learn the skills of elements and principles of Art in a creative and fun way, studying different Artists and moments over the years. We will be doing different types of projects exposing students to different art tools, techniques and materials (Paintings, Craft, Clay, Collage etc) All materials for the whole year projects are included from acrylic paint, stretched canvases, brushes, aprons, cups, sponges, Q-tips, and much more. Your artist just needs to come, socialize, play, create and have fun!!! We will divide Art Movements with the Masters into 6 movements to cover the 6 months left for the School Year. Workshops change every month to keep kids curious and excited. January (1600-1700) Baroque Art (Rembrandt) February (1800-1880) Romantic Art (Turner) March (1870-1890) Impressionist Art (Monet) Abril (1880-1920) Post Impressionist Art (Van Gogh, Seurat) May (1945) Abstract Art (Mondrian) June: Get ready for our Art Showcase before School Year End. At the end of the year, Santana’s Art Studio invites families to our End of Year Showcase, where we celebrate all the incredible things your artists have created!
